Toronto, Canada, January 23, 2009 – Kevin McNabb is proud to announce the Corporate Philanthropy plans of Kevin McNabb International (www.KevinMcNabb.com).
It Starts with Giving Back – The Philanthropic Commitment of Kevin McNabb International
Kevin McNabb International which is made up of four divisions: Personal Development Resources, Consulting, Freelance Writing and a Health & Personal Care Division has made the commitment that 25% of it’s revenue (not profits) will be donated to two charities; The Sick Kids Foundation (a local Canadian charity) and The Children’s Miracle Network (an international charity).
The Sick Kids Foundation
SickKids Foundation is the largest non-governmental granting agency in child health in Canada. Established in 1972, SickKids Foundation has granted over $500 million to The Hospital for Sick Children and over $60 million to researchers across the country.
Through its National Grants Program, SickKids Foundation invests $4 million annually across Canada in paediatric research, focusing on issues important to children’s health which have not been addressed elsewhere.
Our mission is to inspire our communities to invest in health and scientific advances to improve the lives of children and their families in Canada and around the world.
We have invested our community’s contributions in world-leading children’s health research and care. We believe there is no one else in Canada as dedicated as we are to eliminating the gap between what is happening in child health research, education and training, and what should be happening.
Our vision: Healthier Children. A Better World.™
The Children’s Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network is the alliance of premier children’s hospitals. Every year, Children’s Miracle Network hospitals treat 17 million children for every disease and injury imaginable. Children’s Miracle Network hospitals impact the lives of more children than any other children’s organization in the world. Children’s hospitals provide state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is a Children’s Miracle Network hospital dedicated to serving children in every community across the United States and Canada. These hospitals are committed to providing the best care for children when they need it.
Your support of Children’s Miracle Network helps ensure that children have the specialized care they need and deserve.

It’s Nice to Be Back!
Posted by: | Comments
It has been very odd not to have been working everyday at what I love to do.
In late March of this year, I had an injury to my neck that caused some damage to three of the vertabrae. Some of this damage included a disc bulge and nerve damage.
To make a log story short, it was a very painful experience but it did allow me to slow down (actually stop) and do a fair amount of thinking.
When you get a chance to lie on your back for a little over 5 months, you have lots of time to think.
It gave me a chance to outline a number of new projects that I plan on working on over the next few weeks, along with making decisions about some of my current projects that I will hand off to some other qualified people.
Writing is what I love to do, so that is what I will be focusing on personally.
I am well rested and very eager to proceed.
It’s Nice to Be Back!
