What if there was a formula for increasing your net worth as an MLM distributor, would you want to know what it is?

Duh! of course!

But, what would you do with it once you knew it?

I had a mentor that always said, “To know and not to do is not to know!”

So I came across a wonderfully packaged formula that I truly believe that everyone that reviews it and applies it will benefit greatly from an increased net worth.

A young lady by the name of Katie Freiling has put together an e-book and video series called the Social Media Wealth Manifesto that outlines exactly how she went from $30,000 in debt to making 6 figures a year and driving between 20 to 100 leads into her business daily without paying a cent for advertising.

She shows us how to maximize your personal brand and increase your personal network by using a personal blog as your hub. I.e. just like a bike wheel.

Her success has come from using a six step process to develop a “tribe” of people that helps her promote her content using the social media communities.

So what are these six steps?

STEP 1 – BRAND YOURSELF AROUND YOUR PASSIONS

Without a doubt, the most long-term strategy you could possibly have as an online entrepreneur is building your own brand. And with this new business model, you literally ARE your brand. A brand is an asset that lasts a lifetime and is what gives you the ability to successfully launch any business idea or venture you want for decades to come.
When you step up as a LEADER, establish a brand around giving VALUE, and become a well-known presence on the web, people will naturally want to follow you and buy from you because of the trust and credibility you’ve cultivated.

STEP 2 – GET A BLOG

Having your own blog to represent your brand is undoubtedly one of the most foundational and vital steps to social media success…

STEP 3 – CREATE CONTENT

“The only way to become wealthy is to add more value to people’s lives than anyone else is adding” ~ Tony Robbins.
Sharing value is really the name of the game. It’s the value you put on the table that really attracts followers, attracts a tribe, and makes you stand out from the masses.
So what does value mean? Any life experience, insight, skill set, technique, concept, or training that can potentially improve the lives or businesses of others.

STEP 4 – GROW A SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWING

Social networking sites are the marketing channels where you share, spread, and blanket your content all over the web. Build up your friend followings on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Digg, and others and send all of your new friends and followers to your blog.
When you have a social media following, it becomes very easy to market your blog posts… Just head over to the social sites you hang out on, and let everyone know you have a new valuable blog post to share with them for free.

STEP 5 – BUILD A TRIBE

Welcome to what I feel is the most exciting chapter of the entire manifesto! The revolutionary new concept of building your own tribe IS the X-factor that makes this new social media business model an utter phenomenon.
In Seth Godin’s famous book ‘Tribes’, he talks about how people who want to make a difference in the world can step up and lead a tribe… a group of people with similar interests, similar desires, and a singular mission.

STEP 6 – GROW YOUR EMAIL LIST AND SET UP MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME

When you follow the business model that I’ve outlined for you above, you honestly have the ability to create ANY amount of income you want for yourself, completely at will. You will have opened the doors for unlimited opportunity, unlimited income, and unlimited potential for growth and manifestation.

I highly recommend that you checkout Katie’s Social Media Wealth Manifesto.

In this article Andrew Cass outlines a 3-tiered approach to a marketing plan that includes: Message, Market and media.

All three of these components is critical to the success of your plan. If your message is not well crafted, then no one is going to read it. If you present a great message to the wrong audience, then it will also go unread. The same goes for if you choose the wrong or untested media for your message.

It isn’t until you incorporate all three of these critical pieces that your marketing plan has a chance of success.

Andrew J. Cass has done what many will never do — reaching the seven-figure mark in two separate industries before the age of 35 – Investment Banking and Direct Marketing. As a nationally recognized sales and marketing pro with a specialty in lead generation, Andrew now serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing for an Internet Marketing company as well as Vice President of Business Development for a private financial education company. He sits on the Board of Directors for both organizations.

In this article Scott Rogers simplifies and demystifies the process of recruiting for MLM distributors into two major steps and an easy to follow recruiting process.

Having quality leads is important, but so is the proper mindset when working with these prospects. MLM distributors need to take their eyes off themselves and put them on the prospect. The more an MLM distributor is able to solve the prospects problem the more the prospect is going to trust you and thus want to work with you long term.

Article Marketing has long been a solid means of long-term traffic generation, but $30k in one day? Holy #%@@!

We often think of copywriting skills and think of sales letters, web pages or transaction oriented portals of some kind, but is it necessary in article marketing?

Yes! or Absolutely yes! or No question or duh!

Charles Hubner in his article for BetterNetworker.com reminds us that the old days of writing crap and throwing it against every wall around and hoping something sticks has been replaced with smart well written articles that add tremendous value to the reader and are distributed through well thought out methods.

Highly Regarded by both the Corporate World and Home Business Industry, Charles Hubner, due in part to his legendary, single-session Transformation Workshops, has been elevated in the minds of many to a somewhat ‘mythical’ status as one of the world’s foremost psychological freedom and developmental coaches. This, along with his personal philosophy, helped make him a Millionaire By Age 30.

Are you still trying to build your MLM business without a blog? Why?

Most MLM distributors have not learned the art of personal branding that includes using a blog as your hub of communication.

An MLM Distributors Money is in the Follow-up

We have all heard it before, “The money is in the follow-up!”

Yes it is exciting to make the initial sale , but as David Garfinkel reminds us, that only represents 20% of your income. With 80% left over, we better know how to communicate and follow-up effectively. What is the answer? We had better learn copyrighting.

David Garfinkel is the Author of Advertising Headlines That Make You Rich and founder of the World Copywriting Institute and the author of The Ultimate Copywriting Crash Course.

I love this interview, because we all get these annoying pitch emails daily that are spammed out with any regard. I agree with Ty in that they are annoying as hell.

Now some people don’t know any better, and they can be trained. It is the ones that do know better and don’t care that I wonder about.
